Site work for a water / sewer project in McKenzie, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
McKenzie Water Meter Upgrades. Principal items of work include: Installation of approximately 410 AMR WATER METERS and related appurtenances. The entire project shall be completed in ninety (90) consecutive calendar days. Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% (maximum of $10,000.00) of the amount of the bid filed in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town of McKenzie. Bid bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in circular 570 of the U.S. treasury department. Each bidder must submit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the information for bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
