“The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies. The project is expected to be awarded till late January.” This Project generally consists of design, state approval (if required), construction, including any structural upgrades (if required), installation, and commissioning services for new HVAC systems at Dublin High Schools Practice Gymnasium and Sports Complex, Wells Middle Schools Gymnasium and Fallon Middle Schools Gymnasium Sites. Included in the Project are all components needed for a complete installation, including all equipment, controllers or components for a fully functional system that is integrated into the districts Allerton Control System. District Notification to Shortlisted Firms December 13, 2023 RFP Questions Due: 2:00 P.M., December 18, 2023 HVAC with required electrical service extension and district approved Alerton controls system integration will be added to the identified schools gymnasiums and sports complex. The Work shall be performed in two (2) phases: Design Phase, including the following: o Early Design o Schematic Design (Preliminary Plan Phase) o Design Development o 50% Construction Documents (Working Drawing Phase) o 100% Construction Documents (Working Drawing Phase) Construction Phase, including two (2) sub phases: o Construction o Testing, Commissioning, Completion The Districts estimate of the Project Budget is $5,000,000 for all elements identified in this RFP. The expected Board award date to the Firm is January 10, 2024, and the expected construction completion date is July 30, 2024. Award of Contract to Firm :January 23, 2024 Notice to Proceed February 6, 2024 Design & Construction June - July 30, 2024 Anticipated Contract Award: January 23, 2024 Pursuant to the Contract, the Firm shall be required to obtain a payment bond and performance bond to cover the Contract amount for non-design services, and errors and omissions insurance coverage sufficient to cover all design and architectural services provided in the Contract. The District shall follow this schedule for the review and selection process under the RFP. The District reserves the right to modify this schedule at its discretion If the District issues addenda to this RFP, Firms are solely responsible for and must acknowledge receipt of addenda in the Firms Response. Failure to acknowledge and respond to any addenda issued by the District may, in the Districts sole discretion, deem the Firms Response non-responsive.
