**As of January 26, 2024, No Award, Award should be available around February 12, 2024** replace the existing cafeteria furniture and kitchen equipment items at Houghton Lake High School replace the existing cafeteria furniture and kitchen equipment items at Houghton Lake High School on behalf of Houghton Lake Community Schools The School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals as it deems to be in the best interest of the School District discussed and selected at the board meeting on January 8th. They will officially award this project by January 9th. The expectation is to have the kitchen equipment portion completed before the furniture based on shorter lead times. Specific installation dates will be provided to the school after orders are released Direct any request for additional information contact at email. Any information that the school district deems appropriate to provide in response to the Proposer's request for additional information will be shared with all proposers. Deadline for clarification requests is December 15, 2023, via email to: Lacie Curns (Food Service Director), laciecurns@gmail.com The school corporation reserves the right to request any additional information that might be deemed necessary after opening the responses. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in proposals received and to accept any portion of a proposal or all items proposed if deemed in the best interest of the School District. The competency, responsibility, experience, and reputation of the bidders will be considered in making the award. Bidders shall bid on the specifications and any exceptions must be noted. Owner/School to take care of any electrical/plumbing upgrades to accommodate new equipment including modification to the existing hood and gas lines in the kitchen to accommodate the new combi oven. 2. Owner/School is responsible for disposing of or moving any existing cafeteria furniture to make room for new items 3. Any work not included within specs that is required/needed, dealer must bring this to the attention of owner at time of RFP. 4. Dealer to perform the following work: 1. Confirm all utilities prior to release of equipment to factory 2. Sign off on all required shop drawings confirming direction, voltage, sizes, and any other necessary items to release. 3. Provide signed off on shop drawing to owner for records 5. Coordinate with different trades/installer on timing of equipment delivery and with owner. 6. Provide owner operating manuals in digital form and any operational training videos by manufacturer. 7. Coordinate factory-rep training with owner's staff at completion of project.
