Reference Number AB-2023-07028 Deadline for Questions December 12, 2023 at 23:59:59 hrs Alberta time Civida is seeking a qualified locksmith to provide on-demand locksmith services for Civida’s property portfolio within the City of Edmonton and area (refer to (Google Map of Sites). The primary service requirement under this RFP is for locksmith services, however, Civida is also interested in obtaining secondary services from a qualified locksmith who can provide electronic access control services for the Salto system. As property manager, it is Civida’s responsibility to manage these properties 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and statutory holidays. It is paramount that the successful supplier is client-focused and responsive to ensure security and maintenance needs of tenants and buildings are addressed in a timely manner. Currently both the locksmith services and electronic access control services are outsourced. Civida is actively recruiting an in-house locksmith with anticipated commencement in mid 2024. The successful proponent will be required to provide locksmith and access control services full time until the in-house locksmith is brough onboard. Once the in-house locksmith is in place, the successful scope of services will transition to afterhours services, assistance during periods of high demand, vacation coverage, etc.
