Question Deadline 12/13/2023 at 2:00 PM ET Responsibilities and Tasks for Scope of Work Requirements 2.3.1 First Floor Tasks: A. Demolition: 1. Demolition and disposal of 29 linear feet of the existing wall between the new and existing Human Resource (HR) suite. Along with two 4' sections of wall that hide the Air walls. (See Appendix 3 - sketch for demo work on the first floor.) 2. Demolition and disposal 68 linear feet of Air wall. The ceiling track system shall remain. 3. Demolition and disposal of 14' of wall between main foyer and new HR suite. 4. Remove and save the existing carpeting in the affected areas. Return to Owner. 5. Lighting: a. The contractor will be responsible for relocating lighting or furnish and install new lighting to meet lighting requirements. All offices must have at least 2 plenum rated LED 2 tube fixtures. Some fixtures may need to be relocated. b. MDOT estimates 16 additional plenum LED lighting fixtures will need to be added to the office buildings to achieve two fixtures per office. 6.Sprinkler Heads: a. The contractor will be responsible for relocating sprinkler heads to meet the Code for sprinkler protection. The Project Manager should be notified prior to relocation. b. At this time no sprinkler heads have been identified as being in the way of the renovation work. 7. Remove and save for reuse the double doors leading from the main foyer into the HR suite.
