The City of Orlando's (City) Transportation Engineering (TRE) Division is responsible for maintaining approximately 495 signalized intersections, 23 school zone flashers, 44 warning flashers, eight dynamic message signs (DMS), and 84 Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) traffic surveillance cameras. TRE also maintains the Regional Computerized Signal System (RCSS) which includes communications with 464 signalized intersections using over 80 miles of fiber optic and twisted pair communication lines. TRE is committed to continuous improvement; responsiveness to citizens, commuters, and visitors; professional and innovative delivery of services; efficient use of technology; and enhancing safety for all modes of travel. The City is seeking a contractor(s) to provide expeditious industry and safety standard repair and maintenance of traffic signals, including any incidental work related to such repair.
