The City of Orlando's (City) Transportation Engineering (TRE) Division is responsible for maintaining approximately 495 signalized intersections, 23 school zone flashers, 44 warning flashers, eight dynamic message signs (DMS), and 84 Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) traffic surveillance cameras. TRE also maintains the Regional Computerized Signal System (RCSS) which includes communications with 464 signalized intersections using over 80 miles of fiber optic and twisted pair communication lines. The City is seeking a contractor(s) to provide expeditious industry and safety standard repair and maintenance of traffic signals, including any incidental work related to such repair.
