*The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Village of Grafton is accepting proposals to construct a 7500 sq. foot Veterans Memorial Park at the intersection of Willow and Main Streets.
The project involves site preparation per architectural plans and design, installation of sidewalks and specified stamped concrete surfaces per architectural design and specifications, site grade including specified mounding and landscaping per architectural design. Site irrigation installed per plans. Site electric conduit installed per plans. Site flagpole foundations installed per plans, and site monument/pedestals foundations installed as specified in location and structure, and other items as specified in plans within the project scope of design. Project award date TBD, January 2024. Construction start date in March 2024 with added consideration given for adverse weather conditions delaying a March 2024 start date. The completion date is to not exceed Friday May 17, 2024, to meet park dedication date MEMORIAL DAY, May 27, 2024. Proposals must include an itemized line by line total cost to construct each element of the project, such as but not limited to Sidewalks cost per sq. ft, Stamped Concrete surfaces cost per sq. ft., Irrigation cost, Foundation cost for each specified flagpole, Foundation/Pedestal cost for each Monument specified, cost to meet final grade, restore topsoil, seed, and straw site to meet specified restoration of the memorial.
