Renovation of an educational facility in Montgomery, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: At all roof areas, demo existing membrane down to existing lightweight concrete. Demo existing edge metal and gutters, install new mechanically attached vented base sheet, new fully adhered 2 inch iso,new fully-adhered 1/2 inch cover board, new fully-adhered modified bitumen base ply, and new 60-mil fleece-back thermoplastic finish ply. At all roof areas, add new wood blocking at perimeter edge as to match new adjacent roof height. Replace all associated sheet metal, trim, gutters, downspouts, coping, etc. Match size of gutters and downspouts and locations to existing. Replace old pipe supports with new. Liquid flash all penetrations (vents, pipes, stacks, etc.). Replace all wooden sleepers and existing pipe supports with new specified sleepers and pipe supports. Raise curbs, gas, electrical, and refrigerant lines as needed to properly flash penetrations. Remove and replace all existing thru-wall flashing with new 24 ga. stainless steel. Provide new weep protections.
