Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Braselton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Town of Braselton Sidewalk Improvement Project consists of the shoulder improvements to construct a 5- foot sidewalk along Davis Street and Pinecrest Lane including storm drain improvements and lighting. The last date an addendum will be issued will be by January 8th, 2024. The amount of liquidated damages will be determined by GDOT Section 108.08. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Town of Braselton, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the attorney for the Town. The Performance and Payment bond shall meet the requirements in GDOT section 103.05. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Town of Braselton as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. The Town of Braselton reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Contract will be awarded, if at all, within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after opening of the proposal. Contractor is advised that Federal Funds are being utilized for construction of this project. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for project is 11%. All subcontractors including DBE firms are to be GDOT registered subcontractors or prequalified contractors. Bidders will be required to complete Federal Aid Certification of Compliance. Sub-contracts by the prime should also include these provisions. The completed DBE Goals Form, Federal Aid Certification, and Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit shall be submitted with the bid. The work shall be completed within 365 calendar days from the date of the official Notice to Proceed.
