Demolition and site work for a civil project in Windsor, Ontario. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is Windsor's Local Distribution Company, responsible for the distribution of electricity and the servicing and maintenance of Windsor's power line infrastructure. ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is the water system operator under contract with the owner of the local water production and distribution infrastructure, the Windsor Utilities Commission, and ENWIN is acting as the agent for WUC for this Request for Proposals. This Request for Proposals is an invitation from ENWIN to prospective Proponents to prepare and submit competitive Proposals for the provision of: Old Treatment Plant Demolition and Low Lift Pump Station Reconstruction at the A.H Weeks Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in the City of Windsor. The Windsor Utilities Commission (WUC) requires demolition of the Old Water Treatment Plant (OTP) located at 3665 Wyandotte Street East in Windsor, Ontario to remove facilities that have reached the end of their service life. It should be noted that the existing low lift pump station which is connected to the OTP is not scheduled for demolition and shall be reconstructed under this Project. Rerouting of piping and modifications of other infrastructure associated with the removal of the OTP will be required as part of this Project.
