The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, cleaning supplies/equipment and every other item of expense needed to perform as needed Janitorial Services upon vacancy of state-owned rental housing at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), Folsom State Prison (FSP), 300 Prison Road, Represa, CA 95671. The Contractor will be compensated for services in accordance with the rates specified on Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet. The area to be cleaned will consist of state-owned rental housing which are approximately 900 square feet to 1800 square feet and are to be move-in ready after Janitorial Services are performed. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is continuing to work with the Department of General Services (DGS) to streamline the contracting process and reduce State costs. The CDCR places selected solicitations on electronically. The Agreement term is Upon Approval through September 15, 2026. Contractor may submit a written request to terminate this Agreement only if the State should substantially fail to perform its responsibilities as provided herein. Additionally, the State reserves the right to terminate this Agreement subject to thirty calendar days written notice to the Contractor should it be later identified as a service which can be consolidated into a statewide/regionalized Agreement. The State may exercise its option to cancel the remaining years of this Agreement, should it be decided that with additional institutions and/or sites, the State would receive a better rate for the same service.
