Peterborough Housing Corporation is a social housing provider that owns and manages approximately 1350 units of Rent Geared to Income, Affordable Housing and administers approximately 200 Rent Supplement Agreements with private landlords, under an agreement with the Service Manager, the City of Peterborough for Peterborough City and County. The Peterborough Housing Corporation invites Proposal Submissions for the Electrical & Plumbing Service Contracts for the period of January 15, 2024, to January 15, 2026, unless terminated, cancelled, or extended. The term of the contract may be extended or renewed at the sole discretion of Peterborough Housing Corporation for two (2) additional one (1) year terms subject to satisfactory performance reviews and price negotiations. Peterborough Housing Corporation is seeking five (5) Plumbing contractors and five (5) Electrical Contractors. Firm pricing is required for the initial Contract Term. The purpose of the Request for Proposal is to select Proponent(s) with the ability to provide the full scope of goods and services required, at the most advantageous cost to the Corporation. Proponents are to familiarize themselves with the requirements of these instructions, terms and conditions, and specifications, which will all form part of the Contract between the successful Proponent(s) and the Housing Corporation. No consideration will be given to any Proponent for failure to comply with these requirements.
