Renovation of a military facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Questions are due on December 07, 2023, end of day. Submit questions via email to Nicholas.Mace@dla.mil. Solicitation Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) Building 46 Storefront Glassdoor. This is a solicitation for construction prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 36, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for construction. The solicitation number SP4703-24-Q-0012 is issued as a request for (RFQ). The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price Purchase Order type award with an anticipated Period of of 60 days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP). This acquisition is for 100% small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990 (Specialty Trade Work). The small business size standard is $19M. Department of Labor Wage Determination based on of the service provided (Chesterfield County, VA). Partial proposals will not be accepted. For an offer to be considered for award, the contractor must be within a commutable driving distance to the DSCR facility. A 120-mile radius from DSCR is considered the commutable radius. Moreover, the Contractor must demonstrate that storefront door installations are a core part of their business. Subcontracting to a door company is not acceptable. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror that meets the requirements stated in the Statement of Work and the solicitation. Also refer to clauses and provisions includes in this notice. Past will be considered a part of Technical Acceptability, and the Contracting Officer will pull contractor data from CPARS and SPRS. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. If not already registered in SAM, go to the SAM web www.sam.gov to register prior to submitting your . PERIOD OF : 12/30/2023 - 03/16/2024 The Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or Project Manager (PM) may request submittals in addition to those specified when deemed necessary to adequately describe the work covered in the respective sections. Units of weights and measures used on all submittals are to be the same as those used in the contract drawings. Each submittal is to be complete and in sufficient detail to allow ready determination of compliance with contract requirements. Contractor's Quality Control (CQC) System Manager to check and approve all items prior to submittal and stamp, sign, and date indicating action taken. Proposed deviations from the contract requirements are to be clearly identified. Include within submittals items such as: Contractor's, manufacturer's, or fabricator's drawings; descriptive literature including (but not limited to) catalog cuts, diagrams, operating charts or curves; test reports; test cylinders; samples; O&M manuals (including parts list); certifications; warranties; and other such required submittals. Pick up and dispose of samples not incorporated into the work in accordance with manufacturer's Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and in compliance with existing laws and regulations. 1.2 DEFINITIONS 1.2.1 Submittal Descriptions (SD) Submittal's requirements are specified in the technical sections. Submittals are identified by Submittal Description (SD) numbers and titles as follows: a. SD-01 Preconstruction Submittals b. Security Vetting Paperwork c. Certificates of insurance d. Surety bonds e. List of proposed Subcontractors f. List of proposed products g. Construction progress schedule h. Submittal register i. Schedule of prices j. Health and safety plan k. Work plan l. Quality Control (QC) plan m. Environmental protection plan SD-02 Shop Drawings Drawings, diagrams and schedules specifically prepared to illustrate some portion of the work. Diagrams and instructions from a manufacturer or fabricator for use in producing the product and as aids to the Contractor for integrating the product or system into the project. Drawings prepared by or for the Contractor to show how multiple systems and interdisciplinary work will be coordinated.
