Berkeley County is seeking qualified contractors to pave the driveway and replace the concrete walkway along of the Tri-Community Center located at 1708 Poplar Hill Dr, Cross, SC 29436 as part of a CDBG Grant This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract. All contractors and subcontractors are required to be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM). Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 & Order No. 11375 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI if the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the AntiKickback Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and 40 CFR 33.240. The walkways are roughly 760 Sq Ft o Remove 4 existing walkways, o Re-grade for proper slope (1/4" drop for every 12" of run) o Form and pour new concrete walkways. o 4ft wide. o 4" thickness. o Minimum of 2,500 psi concrete. o Fiber or wire mesh to be used for strengthening. o Sawcut joints per standard lengths. o Broom finish.
