PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Work to include the removal of two existing double doors, frame, and associated materials, and the cutting of existing brick to widen the existing rough opening. New work to include the installation of two new double doors, frame, and associated materials, including two ADA compliant saddle thresholds covering demolished wall space at floor. LOCATION(S): Thompsonville High School 21191 Shawneetown Road Thompsonville, Franklin County, Illinois 62980. Bid or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required. Bids shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, considering conformity with specifications, terms of delivery, and quality and serviceability, as determined by the Board. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informality in the bidding process. Any such decision shall be considered final. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Facsimile and electronic bids will not be accepted. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their bids; no late bids will be accepted.
