Renovation of a municipal facility in Dubuque, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Renovation of a portion of the existing facility at 7900 Chavenelle Drive. The Work includes: selective demolition of aluminum assemblies, steel stud framing at interior walls; new gypsum wallboard and finishes at remodeled spaces, power and lighting improvements, modification to existing mechanical systems, modification to existing fire protection system, modification to existing telecommunications systems, residential appliances, shelving equipment, and other miscellaneous items. Question Deadline 01/01/2024 Submit questions about the Bidding Documents to the Architect in writing A. Briefly and without force and effect upon the Contract Documents, the Work of this single prime Contract can be summarized as follows: B. Work under this Contract includes: 1. Building Enclosure a. Aluminum windows and glazing. 2. Interior Finishes a. Insulated gypsum board/metal stud partitions. b. Floor finishes of carpet. c. Wall finishes of paint. d. Re-use of existing acoustical lay-in tile. e. Re-use of existing casework. f. HM doors and frames, wood doors, access panels, hardware, glazing, signage, and miscellaneous specialties. 3. Mechanical Systems a. Modifications to existing Fire Suppression System b. Plumbing including, supply and waste piping systems, piping insulation, plumbing fixtures, water heaters. c. Heating including heat pumps, piping, piping insulation. d. Ventilation to include modifications to existing system, ductwork, duct insulation, etc. e. Modifications to existing temperature control system. 4. Electrical Systems a. Distribution panels, conduit and wiring. b. Interior and exterior lighting. c. Communications including paging system. d. Fire alarm system. C. Keep Architect fully informed about progress of the work, performance of the work and potential problems
