This procurement is restricted to the General MACC contractors. Only the General MACC contractors listed on the RFP cover letter may submit a proposal. Demolition of an existing timber framed wash rack and replacement with a steel framed wash rack; demolition and replacement of existing concrete pavement as required by new design; providing an approximately 100 foot X 160 foot pre-engineered metal building canopy structure with lighting and a fall protection system; providing an approximately 40 foot X 12 foot pre-engineered utility/storage building; providing steel framed platforms to access the wing and tail sections of the plane with vertical ladder access; proving new water and compressed air service; and other related items as indicated. Bond Requirements: Bid bonds are required in accordance with FAR 28-101-4. An electronic copy of your bid bond must be submitted with your proposal. An electronic copy of your bid bond will be requested from the apparent low upon confirmation of their price and must be submitted to the FEAD office within one (1) week from time of request. Failure to submit an electronic copy of your bid bond with your proposal will result in your proposal being deemed nonresponsive and your proposal removed from consideration. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.228-15 Performance and Payment Bonds--Construction and FAR Clause 52.228-13 Alternate Payment Protections, Payment and/or performance bond(s) will be requested at the time of award.
