Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ramsey, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Barthel's Rum River Acres & White Pines Estates Street Reconstructions. Each bidder shall submit a bid bond made payable to the City of Ramsey in the amount of 5% of the total bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The work generally consists of reconstructing 1.33 miles of streets within the Barthel's Rum River Acres and White Pines Estates subdivisions The City of Ramsey reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities. The work is estimated to include: -- 1,005 cubic yards of excavation -- 21,500 square yards of full-depth reclamation -- 4,440 tons of bituminous pavement -- 4,748 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter -- 1,060 linear feet of storm sewer -- Miscellaneous other improvements. A contract is anticipated to be awarded on February 27, 2024, and that work may begin on or about May 1, 2024. Please contact Patrick Johnson if you have any questions regarding this report.
