Seeking bids from qualified firms for property cleanup, site services and mowing of privately owned properties, vacant and/or occupied, within the Town of Culpeper. Mowing: On lots of less than an acre actions requiring more than a two hour response will require prior authorization. Contractor's bidding on work are expected to be in possession of equipment necessary to accomplish the tasks. No equipment rental fees will be allowed. Site Cleanup: Jobs that will exceed four hours will require prior authorization before the awarded contractor may proceed. Tipping fees will be handled as a separate line item. A copy of the tipping fees receipt will be required at time of billing. Equipment rental to accomplish work may be allowed with prior authorization. Photographic documentation of material removed from the site will be required with billing. Bid Bond (5% of bid) Performance Bond (full amount of contract price) Payment Bond (full amount of contract price) General Site Services (Boarding of Structures): Materials necessary to accomplish the work will be handled as a separate line item. Question Deadline 12/07/2023 at 2:00 PM ET To receive an answer, all questions must be submitted no later than five (5) business (working) days before the due date. This contract will be for a one-year term with an option to renew for up to four (4) one-year renewal periods. On call as needed. The Contractor will be notified of the services needed by email. Once the Contractor has been notified, work is to begin within five (5) business days. The Town reserves the right to waive any Informality in any Bid. However, Bids or amendments which are received after the date and time specified for the opening of Bids will be neither opened nor considered. By submitting a Bid, Bidder represents that it has or can acquire all necessary federal, state and local permits and all necessary licenses, including licenses to use intellectual or real property, as of the date of performance.
