The City of Huntsville, TX (hereinafter referred to as the "City") invites Civil Engineers, Multi-Disciplinary Firms, and any other qualified professionals, registered with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, to submit qualifications to provide professional design engineering and support services for the Water and Wastewater Capacity and Condition Study project as listed below: Water System Field Testing: Conduct field pressure testing and hydrant testing within the distribution system, and pump testing at the City's water plant pump stations. Evaluate field testing data and available SCADA. Hydraulic Water Model Update and Calibration: Update the City's hydraulic water model based on the latest GIS and facility information, develop diurnal curves, update water demand distribution, and conduct extended period simulation water model calibration. Population and Water Demand Projections: Update the land use assumptions and population and commercial acreage projections for the 5-year, 10-year, and 25-year planning periods. Develop planning criteria, demand projections, and allocate future demands throughout the City. The selected firm should anticipate the negotiated scope of work for professional engineering services will include standard engineering services consideration of the following: Performing Field Testing, Flow Monitoring, and Data Collection. Evaluating Existing Conditions . Evaluating Population Growth and Demand Projections. Performing Hydraulic Modeling and Calibrations. Developing Capital Improvement, Cost, & Priority Plans .Performing Capacity Assessments. The City reserves the right to authorize services in Phases or combinations thereof.
