As of March 7, 2025, this project has been completed. This project is to design the irrigation for Crescent Park located at 230 East 11000 South Sandy, Utah. Bidders must meet the requirements of the landscape ordinance and design standards. Designs must support an 8-hour water window (11:00PM to 7:00AM) and applying .66 inches of water with the factoring in of the target irrigation efficiency. The irrigation system must have a minimum irrigation efficiency factor of 70% for rotors and 60% for spray zones. There are two water sources, culinary and non-potable that will both need a physical disconnect. 3" culinary water meter with static pressure of 45PSI 3" non-potable water meter with a static pressure of 75PSI Important things for the bidder to note: The system will need to be tested by an independent consultant at the Bidder's expense. There should be no water over hardscape. The design must be completed in 90 days of Notice to Proceed. The Contractor will need to hold design meetings with parks staff. Bidder is to provide all the drawings for the City to bid and contract the installation of the irrigation system.
