Renovation of a municipal facility in Monroe, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 25,225-square-foot, four-story above grade municipal facility.

The project is for a single prime contract that consists of the removal and replacement of the West and East porch stairs, landings, associated railings, sidewalk pavement. The work also includes improvements at the lower level entries below each porch stair including ADA / accessible route improvements to the lower East entry. Replacement of porches and steps on east and west sides of the Green County Historic Courthouse. The existing stone steps and porch slabs to be replaced with new traffic coating covered concrete slabs supported on steel fabrications. Both lower level entry vestibules to recieved new lighting, finishes, doors, and the addition of an exhaust fan in the existing unfinished storage rooms off each vestibule. The east lower level entry requires accessible entry improvements including an automatic door opener and replacement of the sloped concrete slab on ground floor. Exterior work to include new steel handrails and ornamental guards, stone masonry restoration, selective demolition and replacement of sidewalk pavings with some grading / elevation change and the associated reseeding and restoring of planting beds affected by construction activities.
