City of Hutchinson, Kansas seeks a qualified firm/individual to resurface, repaint and repair the 3 water slides located at Salt City Splash 1601 S. Plum St, Hutchinson, KS 67501. Proposers may withdraw or modify their submitted Proposals at any time before the submission deadline. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals received as a result of this RFP, or to negotiate separately with competing contractors. The City also reserves the right to waive any informalities, defects, or irregularities in any Proposals, or to accept such Proposals as shall be deemed to be in the best interest of the City. All questions concerning this Project during the RFP solicitation process shall be forwarded to the Project Manager listed above. Any questions about the meaning or intent of this RFP or its requirements are to be submitted in writing to the above Project Manager, not less than three (3) days prior to the date of opening. If deemed necessary, all questions thus submitted will be answered by written addenda issued to all prospective Proposers. Oral or other interpretations or clarifications will be void, without any legal effect, and do not bind the City. Itemized pricing should include the following: o Gel Coat Interior of 1-147ft blue open waterslide o Paint Exterior of 1-147ft blue open waterslide o Paint Exterior of 1-102ft yellow tunnel slide o Gel coat 1 start tub and 1 end cap on 102ft yellow tunnel slide o Paint Exterior of 1 red 17ft red drop slide o Fix chip repair on 1 red 17ft red drop slide The scope of work must include the following: o Power wash, repair, sand, caulk, paint exterior and gel interior of 1-147ft blue open waterslide o Power wash, repair, sand, caulk, paint exterior and gel the yellow start tub & end cap on the 102ft yellow tunnel slide o Power wash, repair, sand, paint exterior and fix minor repairs on the 17ft red drop slide OVERVIEW OF PROJECT The City of Hutchinson, through the Parks and Facilities Department, is requesting proposals from professional contractors to assist the City with refurbishing the 3 water slides at Salt City Splash.
