Site work for a mixed-use development in Gastonia, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a service station / car wash facility; and water / sewer project.

The delivery method for the Project will be Design-Bid-Build. The selected engineer will be required to provide a full range of design services for a fully usable, operational, and code compliant fueling station that satisfies the County's project requirements, including but not limited to: o Site design for above-ground fueling tanks including electrical connections; o Conducting regular meetings with appropriate County stakeholders; o Coordination with City of Gastonia for utility relocation; o Preparing detailed cost estimates; o Coordination with fuel tank and dispenser vendors; o Preparing construction documents for bidding and permitting; o Submitting for permits required for compliance with local, state and federal requirements; o Preparing a construction phasing plan to meet the county's specific equipment and workflow needs; o Bidding administration; o Construction administration including tank installation; o Special Inspections and Material Testing; and o Closeout The selected firm will be required to participate in a collaborative process and to work with the County and its overall Project team. The Engineer may also be asked to prepare further drawings, renderings, and other materials for presentation of the Project to other entities. Any questions shall be submitted by 5:00 P.M.
