MARC Penn Line Station HVAC Inspection and Preventive Maintenance. Inapplicable because there is no MBE goal for this IFB. Liquidated Damages other than MBE. The Bidder shall provide preventive maintenance and on-call repair services for HVAC units located at various locations on the MARC Train Penn Line. Preventative maintenance and on call repairs services shall be completed as Routine Tasks and Non-Routine Tasks. Routine Tasks and Non-Routine Tasks shall be completed per the criteria within this contract. The Contract Monitor reserves the right to reject any individual based upon the results of the background check. Contract Duration: Five (5) years base period with no option periods Questions Due Date and Time Tuesday December 19, 2023, at 2:00 PM Local Time via email trussell@mdot.maryland.gov Scope of Work. Under Md. Code Ann., State Finance and Procurement Article, Title 18, if the Commissioner determines that the Contractor/subcontractor violated a provision of this title or regulations of the Commissioner, the Contractor/subcontractor shall pay restitution to each affected employee, and the State may assess liquidated damages of $20 per day for each employee paid less than the Living Wage.
