This is a pre-solicitation notice. The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Greater Southwest Region 7, Acquisition Management Division, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Construction Service for Buildout of Office Space for the BOGGS MARAD to Department of Transportation @ Warehouse District. 38 Poland Avenue and Chartres Wharf, New Orleans, LA 70177. This procurement is a 100% Woman Owned Small Business Set-aside. The estimated construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a size standard of $45 Million. All responsible, qualified firms are encouraged to submit a proposal. Evaluation/Award Process: This contract will be competitively solicited and awarded based in accordance with the FAR 15.101-2 Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process. An award will be made to the contractor offering the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable proposal to the Government.. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or around January 4, 2024. A site visit or pre-proposal meeting will be conducted, the date and time to be set-forth in the solicitation package. Interested firms are encouraged to attend the pre-proposal meeting. The solicitation closing date will be approximately 30 days after its issuance; the actual date and time will be identified in the solicitation. No telephone requests for documents will be accepted. This solicitation is not a sealed bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening.
