The Government Publishing Office, Facility Management business unit is seeking services from a contractor that can remove and dispose of ten (10) Rooftop Air Handler Units. The government anticipates awarding one (1) Firm-Fixed Price contract to the most advantageous responsible vendor as Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required as cited in the statement of work at Government Publishing Office Laurel Warehouse/Distribution Center The building address 8660 Cherry Lane, Laurel Maryland 20707. Contractor shall provide supervision, labor, material, and equipment required to perform all work to remove and replace ten (10) Rooftop Air Handler Units (air conditioning only) as described in this statement of work. - Provide a unit price per unit. - Removal and demolish existing rooftop air handlers. - Disconnection and removal of old ductwork. - Disconnection and removal of old electrical wiring and controls. - Installation of New 20 Ton Rooftop Air Handlers: - Installation of 8 new 20-ton rooftop air handlers. - Installation of motorized outdoor air dampers and anti-recycle timers. - Installation of new thermostats. - Installation of new electrical (480 volt) wiring and controls. - Installation of new ductwork to connect to existing HVAC system. - Testing of new units to ensure they are functioning properly. - Provide training for GPO Facilities staff for RTU including preventive maintenance and controls. - Provide warranty on RTU for 5-years and including the 10-year warranty on the compressors Please include the solicitation number 040ADV-24-R-0003 in the subject email.
