The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, also the right to waive any minor discrepancies in the bids when deemed to be in the best interest of the County. The Contractor shall provide regular services between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. The Contractor shall supply a 24-hour contact number should the County require Emergency after hour services. The Allegheny County Division of Purchasing and Supplies has taken a leadership role in public purchasing with a competent, professional and experienced staff who is committed to fair and open competition. We appreciate your interest in this solicitation and look forward to your participation. On-Call Repair - the Allegheny County Jail Representative will call the Supplier for repairs. The Supplier will respond to the call within twenty-four (24) hours of the initial call being placed. If the 24-hour window places the time on a weekend or County holiday the Contractor will respond the next regular business day. On-Call Repairs will not incur any additional costs. 1.7. Emergency Services - the Allegheny County Jail Representative will call for an emergency repair. The Contractor shall be on-site and repairs shall begin within two (2) hours or less. 1.8. Project Work - the County Representative will call the Supplier for a project. The project shall begin within ten (10) calendar days of the County Representative notifying the Contactor to begin work on the project. 1.9. Invoices - Invoices shall contain the task order number, details of services performed, number of man hours for each discipline of labor, materials furnished, and rental equipment used. Unit prices for each shall be listed. Invoices for completed work must be submitted within thirty (30) days. The invoice will also document if a permit was required or not. If a permit was required, the permit number will be listed on the invoice. The County reserves the right to require immediate removal of any employee from service it deems unfit for service for any reason. INSURANCE The supplier shall obtain and maintain during the life of the Contract, with an insurance supplier rated not less than A- by A.M. Best, authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the following insurance requirements: Automobile Liability - Bodily injury and property damage liability covering all non-owned and hired automobiles for limits of not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) bodily injury each person, each accident and one million dollars ($1,000,000) property damage, or one million dollars ($1,000,000) combined single limit - bodily injury and property damage. Bodily injury and property damage liability covering all owned automobiles for limits of not less than three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) bodily injury each person, each accident and three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) property damage, or three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) combined single limit - bodily injury and property damage. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: March 1, 2024 through February 28, 2025, with one (1), one (1) year option to renew.
