Any bid not received by the District by 1:59:59:99 p.m. (ET) will be rejected. The successful Bidder will be required to provide the products and/or services requested herein. This procurement will result in an annual contract, substantially similar to the attached Sample Contract. Any deviations from the specifications must be clearly noted by the Bidder. Adequate information to allow the District to evaluate all exceptions must be noted in bid response. The intent of these specifications is to solicit formal sealed bids from qualified firms to establish primary, secondary, and additional backup contracts to obtain environmental cleanup and restoration on an as needed basis and for use in the event of an emergency, hurricane or other natural disasters. Services will be provided on an as needed basis. This project shall consist of providing hazardous and non-hazardous environmental clean-up and restoration at various sites throughout the district on as needed basis and for use in the event of a hurricane, natural disasters, or emergency such as Fire, Flood and Vandalism etc. The successful bidder shall act as a first responder to the Board. In the event of a named storm, the successful bidder shall be in communications with the the District's Contract Representative, Mr. Randy West at (912) 395-5563, or his designee at least five (5) days before a named storm is scheduled to impact the Chatham County area.
