Project Name: TCSG-393 Georgia Piedmont Technical College Campus Upgrades, located at: Clarkston and Newton campuses. Clarkston Campus: 495 N. Indian Creek Dr., Clarkson, GA 30021. Newton Campus: 8100 Bob Williams Pkwy, Covington, GA 30014. B. The Owner, hereinafter referred to as Owner: Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) ROJECT DESCRIPTION A. Clarkston Campus Summary Project Description: The work being done at the Clarkston campus is centered around the areas within the main entry space that includes renovating the library space, converting a classroom into a bookstore, and updating the common lobby areas with a small coffee bar and reception area. The scope of work consists of changing flooring, ceilings, paint, finishes, and lighting, with minor changes to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems where required. The existing vertical opening, stairs and egress routes are to remain unaltered. B. Newton Campus Summary Project Description: The work being done at the Newton campus involves renovating the front entrance lobby, office areas, conference spaces, break rooms, corridors, and restrooms. The scope of work consists of changing flooring, ceilings, paint, finishes, plumbing fixtures, and lighting, with minor changes to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems where required. The main focus is to create a more welcoming environment for the students. No scope of work is planned at the second floor. The existing exit stairs are to remain. C. Contract Scope: Construction, demolition, renovation, and facility operations during occupancy. D. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum). **Iugis Construction requests sub bids no later than 12:00 PM on 01/08/2024.
