Reference : 0000260572 EllisDon Corporation, acting as the Construction Manager on behalf of BGIS, is inviting Proponents to submit their Statement of Qualifications to pre-qualify to bid on the PDP3 AWR project. The project is located at 11 Rue Laurier St, Gatineau, Quebec J8X 4A6. This pre-qualification process is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process; the second phase is the tendering process. During the Tendering Phase, the pre-qualified proponents will be invited to prepare and to submit stipulated price tenders for this work. The successful proponent will be required to enter a contract agreement with the Construction Manager based on a modified EllisDon Stipulated Price Subcontract. This Request for Qualifications document sets out the requirements for the submission of the Proponent's Statement of Qualifications and specifies the evaluation criteria and Proponent selection process for this phase. The Place de Portage III facility was built in the 1970's and will be rehabilitated into a modern complex to update and modernize the base building services. It consists of nine (9) towers varying from 3 to 18 floors, which includes a connecting 3-storey bridge over Maisonneuve Boulevard. The anticipated scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Supply and installation of labour, material and equipment of epoxy flooring for all towers and all levels pertaining to stage 2. This work also includes various final patching, touch up and finish details. Based on the available design information, the preliminary estimated costs for the various tender packages are CAD $1,000,000. During construction of this project, there will be several other projects on-going. The Work of this project must be coordinated accordingly between these concurrent projects, while maintaining the required separation of time and space so that the responsibilities associated with "Constructor" remain with the Construction Manager. The work will begin upon contract award and will be executed within the Construction Manager's overall construction schedule. The scheduled duration for this work will be confirmed in the second stage of tendering. The work pertaining to this RFQ is anticipated to start in Q3 of 2024 and be completed by Q3 of 2027.
