Project Duration: Construction shall begin on or about 19 June 2024 and shall be substantially completed on or before 22 August 2024 and all Punch List items completed by no later than 29 August 2024. Construction Budget:$160,000 Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Department of Property and Management Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bids submitted under the terms of New Jersey Statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualified/Classification Certificate and New Jersey Department of Labor Contractor Registration Certificate may be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. In accordance with N.J.S.A 18A:18A-18, this Project is to be constructed as a single overall General Constructor Bid (DPMC Classification C032 -HVACr) for all the work, goods, and services required to complete the public building to be included in the single contract. The General Constructor must be qualified in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. The following DPMC-Classified Trade Subcontractors may be required for this Project and must be submitted at the time of the bid submission. The listed trade subcontractors (if required) below must be qualified in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. C009 General Construction Alterations/Additions C029 Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron. C030 Plumbing, Gas Fitting and all kindred work. C047 Electrical. The HAINESPORT TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION has the right to award the contracts within sixty (60) days of the bid opening and reserves the right to reject all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions, as may be permitted by law. Bidders are advised that the Hainesport Township Board of Education reserves the right to cancel this Project at any time due to any unforeseen circumstances that arise in connection with any Public Health Emergency and funding related to same. By submitting a bid, Prime Bidders waive, on behalf of themselves and their Subcontractors, any potential claim for increased costs, loss of profits, delay damages, or other similar consequential and direct damages incurred due to the Hainesport Township Board of Education Termination of the Project as permitted by law.
