Renovation of a water / sewer project in Fulton, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

As of January 12, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Notice is hereby given that Onondaga County Water Authority, hereinafter referred to as the OWNER, shall receive sealed bids for the following waterworks improvements: Two 300,000 Gallon Steel Single-Pedestal Spheroid Elevated Tanks in Volney, New York: The complete cleaning and repainting of the interior wet surfaces, the complete cleaning and repainting of the interior dry surfaces, and the complete cleaning and repainting of the exterior surfaces with containment. Additional Work items include: repair of concrete and grout; modification of platform manholes; furnishing and installing insulation and heat traces for the inlet/outlet pipe, overflow air break with elastomeric check valve, ladders, safe-climbing devices, roof safety railing toe bar, and clog-resistant roof vent; removal of cathodic protection system; and including other miscellaneous repairs. This work shall be included in the Base Bid. The Bidders attention is directed to the Detailed Technical Specifications for a complete description of the Work and the Project. Each tank shall be drained during all cleaning, application, and curing of the coating. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 15% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 0% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0%
