Estimate: $5,200,000.00 Galveston County is seeking a contractor for the rehabilitation of 5 two lane roads located in Galveston County totaling approximately 11 miles. This work includes the removal of the existing surface coarse, full depth base work, prime coating and new HMAC surface course. No inquiries except clarification of instructions will be addressed by telephone. BID GUARANTEE: Evidencing its firm commitment to engage in the contract if Bidder is selected for award of contract, each Bidder is required to furnish with their proposal a Cashiers Check, or an acceptable Bidders Bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total contract price. The Bidders Bond must be executed with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas. Failure to furnish the bid/proposal guarantee in the proper form and amount, by the time set for opening of bids may be cause or rejection of the proposal.
