Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Holland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

We estimate the total project cost to be 27 million. The project consists of furnishing all approximate material and constructing the following: 5,500 LF of 26" (O.D.) IPS DR11 HDPE force main (open cut installation) 8,300 LF of 30" (O.D.) IPS DR11 HDPE force main (open cut installation) 1,800 LF of 30" (O.D.) IPS DR11 HDPE force main (horizontal direction drill installation) 100 LF of bore & jack - 36" casing (1 location) 415 LF of bore & jack - 42" casing (3 locations) 2,500 LF of 24" SDR 26 sanitary gravity sewer Pump Station No. 31 replacement & existing station abandonment 10,700 LF of 16" D.I. force main abandonment (in place) 8,600 Tons of HMA pavement (road/driveway/parking lot/pathway) 45,400 Syd of aggregate (driveways, pathway, road, parking lot, shoulder) 7,300 LF of concrete curb removal/replacement Environmental - groundwater treatment Maintenance of traffic Tree and brush removal Incidental cross culvert and storm sewer replacement/repair Turf and landscaping restoration Selective water service replacement (poly services) Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Bidder shall furnish adequate material, equipment, labor, and supervision to complete the work, which also includes testing and inspection. Drawings and specifications are available electronically or at the Grand Rapids office of Prein&Newhof. Electronic drawings, specifications and bidding documents will be accessible/available only to those Bidders who are active members of the Prein&Newhof . Bidder assumes sole risk for any project specifications and drawings, electronic or hard copy, obtained other than directly from Prein&Newhof. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from Holland Charter Township. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Holland Charter Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of ninety (90) days after the receipt of bids. Project substantial completion date is January 1st, 2026. Project must be completed and ready for final payment by June 1st, 2026. Project schedule includes several sequencing phases. See Section 1 of Project Specifications for detailed schedule information.
