Renovation of an educational facility in Murphysboro, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

TRI-COUNTY SPECIAL EDUCATION, MURPHYSBORO, ILLINOIS issues the following Invitation to Bidders desiring to submit proposals for work at the above titled project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the Owner. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This project consists of; minor demolitions to the interior of the existing building, new interior metal framing and drywall, new doors and frames, new aluminium and hybrid doors, LVT/LVP and epoxy floor flooring. Other scope includes new gypsum board and acoustical tile ceiling systems, new finishes including epoxy flooring and luxury vinyl tile and resilient accessories. Tri-County Special Education and the Architect have no control over the software used to distribute and view the images. Bidding Documents, Plans, and Specifications may be examined by prospective bidders and material suppliers at the Office of Architechniques, Ltd. as shown above. Bid Security in amount and form specified in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS will be required to be submitted with each bid. Bids may not be withdrawn until 30 days after the bid date and time. Successful bidders shall be required to observe 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et. Seq., pertaining to wages and known as the "Prevailing Wage Act" as issued by the Illinois Department of Labor. Successful bidders shall also observe 30 ILCS 560 /0.01 et. Seq., pertaining to hiring Illinois labor and known as the "Public Work Preference Act". Furthermore, successful bidders shall observe the "Illinois Human Rights Act, as Amended", 775 ILCS 5 /1-101et. Seq., and the Rules and Regulations, Title 44, Section 750 of the Illinois Administrative Code, Illinois Department of Human Rights. Successful bidders and their subcontractors shall be required to enter a project labor agreement with the Egyptian Building & Construction Trades Council.
