The County of Burlington seeks bids for the provision of goods/services as per the specifications issued for the solicitation of bids titled Blast Concrete Pump, Model RD 6536 A pre-bid conference is not applicable to this solicitation. Bids MUST be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) OF AMOUNT BID, NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000.00) and shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Burlington. If the successful bidder fails to enter into such contract, or neglects to perform after acceptance of bid by the County, then the check or security deposited by it shall, at the option of the Board of County Commissioners, be retained as liquidated damages, or if bid bond has been supplied, the surety shall be liable for the amount of the bid bond. The Division of Purchasing is responsible for all contract administration matters. A performance guarantee is not required for this solicitation of bids. The surety company providing the Bid Bond must be one licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey. If supplying a bid bond, it must be accompanied by a Power of Attorney for the Attorney-in-Fact. All bonds submitted must be original with a raised seal. Failure to submit a bid guarantee as required by this specification shall cause the bid to be rejected. NOTE: Bidders must submit a copy of the bid guarantee online as part of the electronic bid submission. Additionally, the bidder must mail or deliver the ORIGINAL bid guarantee to the County. The original bid guarantee shall be mailed or delivered to the County in a sealed envelope with the bid title and number clearly marked on the outside. The original bid guarantee is due to the County no later than the deadline for receipt of bids. All work shall be completed within 180 calendar days from the date the Successful Bidder receives a signed purchase order from the County of Burlington.
