The Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority (GFIAA) is requesting qualifications from qualified Construction Management Firms for the supply of Construction Management Services on an On-Call basis for the duration of a 3-5- year contract. Construction Manager responsibilities include overall coordination and management of individual projects, as well as possibly being a member of the planning/design team, from the beginning, to meet design, program, schedule, estimate, scope, and budget requirements crucial to the project success. Estimates will be developed for each work scope prior to beginning work. Work examples include: New Build Demolition/Site Improvements Carpentry Project management of specialty trades Projects directly performed for Airport tenants It is the Airport's desire that the selected contractor self-perform general trades work utilizing their own crews. The Contractor shall warrant that all persons assigned by it to the performance of this contract shall be employees of the Contractor (or specified Subcontractor) and shall be fully qualified to perform the work required. The Contractor shall include a similar provision in any contract with any Subcontractor selected to perform work under this contract. The Contractor is totally responsible for all actions and work performed by its employees and subcontractors. All terms, conditions, and requirements of the contract shall apply without qualification to any services performed or goods provided by any subcontractor Questions regarding this solicitation are to be submitted in writing to purchasing@grr.org prior to 2 p.m. on December 4, 2023.
