Borough Hall and Dpw Roof Replacement Borough of Prospect Park Passaic County, New Jersey Major Items: 61 Squares Install Asphalt Roof Shingles Over Existing Roof 80 Ft Install Ridge Vent and Ridge Cap 160 Lf Install Rain Gutter Leaf Guard 5,500 Sq. Ft Install 2" Iso Foam Board 6,100 Sq Ft Install Epdm on Roof and Parapit Walls 300 Lf Replace Stone Coping With Aluminum Coping. Bidders are reminded that proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope and the outside of the envelope shall bear the name, address and email address of the bidder as well as the indication, "BOROUGH HALL AND DPW ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT BID". It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that the bid is received on time. Neither the Borough, nor the Engineer will assume any responsibility for bids mis-mailed, misdelivered, or misdirected. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Borough of Prospect Park, or negotiable U. S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount of ten (10%) percent of the total of the Total Bid not to exceed $20,000 shall be submitted with each bid. Bids shall include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety to provide the bidder, if awarded a contract for the Project, with performance and payment bonds as required by the Project Specifications. The Borough of Prospect Park reserves the right to waive any informality in and to accept or reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. Bidders must submit with their bids the non-collusion affidavit contained in the contract documents. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 et seq., Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and to possess a current certificate from said Department indicating compliance at the time of Bidding.
