Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Garfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
Façade Rehabilitation Project at Garfield Recreation Building. All proposals submitted by mail must be received at the place by or before the date and hour named above. a Cashier's check, Certified Check or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, provided said check need not be more than $20,000 and submitted with bid at the place on the hour named above. Bids must be accompanied by consent of Surety. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Labor and Material Bond for the full amount of the project. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid or bids, and to reject any or all bids and to accept such bid or bids and to make such award(s) as may be in the best interest of the Owner. Bidders are required to comply with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage (Davis/Bacon) Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et. seq., and pay all workmen and/or subcontractors performing services in connection with the project not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the State Department of Labor and industry, whereby said prevailing rate of wages shall be determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis/Bacon Act, as amended, or the New Jersey Prevailing Wage law of 1963, Chapter 150 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.), whichever rates are higher. The project has a goal of ten to twenty percent (10-20%) MBE/DBE/WBE participation
