Questions Deadline Thursday, November 9, 2023 by 5:00 p.m Bond Requirement: No bond is required with this Invitation to Bid. The County of Galveston is seeking a vendor to supply a tracked excavator for the Galveston County Road & Bridge Department. Tracked excavator shall be brand new, from current production (2023) or newer and of commercial grade quality suitable for its intended purpose. Machine will work off road to cut/excavate materials from ditch banks, dig trenches, spread materials, load aggerate and Like materials from a stockpile into dump trucks, and mow vegetation with cutting head on boom extension. The Galveston County Commissioners' Court reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any and all bids and accept the bid or bids which, in its opinion, are most advantageous to Galveston County with total respect to the governing laws.
