PROJECT DESCRIPTION Port KC, is constructing new volleyball courts, located within the formal park space of the Berkley Riverfront in Kansas City, Missouri. The new courts are to be situated in the park section due north of the intersection of Berkley Pkwy, and Riverfront Dr, on a half-acre site. The project will include a new alignment of six volleyball courts, reuse/redesign of existing volleyball lights, berms for natural site division and seating, relocation of existing water station, and addition of new foot washing station. PROJECT ADDRESS Berkley Riverfront Dr, north of Berkley Pkwy, and Riverfront Dr intersection. SCOPE OF WORK The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: the construction of new, approximately 24,000 SF layout of volleyball courts, including bringing necessary utilities to the site. The site will require limited tree demolition and grading; as well as berms on north side of courts for natural seating, and sand barrier. Reuse of existing, and delegated design of court lighting; as well as, related underground electrical work required. Relocation of existing bottle filler. Procurement of storage shipping container, volleyball nets and poles, and court edging required, per specification. The project will also require coordination with future Streetcar construction..
