Bid Specifications: o Contractor Shall Remove All Debris From the Roof; All Materials Shall Be Collected and Removed From the Site, and Properly Disposed of. The Placement of Any on-site Refuse Collection Bins Shall Be Coordinated With the Maintenance & Service Management So as Not to Impede Traffic to and From the Building. o Contractor Shall Install New Eps Flute Filler Between Ribs on Specified Section. o Contractor Shall Install New 1" Eps Insulation Over Flute Filler and Fasten Down. o Contractor Shall Install New Duro-last .050 White Membrane and Fasten Down. o Contractor Shall Install New Duro-last Two-way Breather Vents. o Contractor Shall Install New Duro-last Termination Bar as Needed. o Contractor Shall Install New Duro-last Pipe and Curb Flashings as Required. o Contractor Shall Install New 24-gauge Two-piece Metal Edge as Required. (Choice of Standard Color) Conditions and Responsibilities: o All Work Shall Be Coordinated With Maintenance & Service Personnel. o the Contractor Shall Take All Necessary Precautions to Ensure the Safety of Staff and Visitors. o the Contractor Shall Take All Necessary Precautions to Prevent Water Infiltration During Installation and Any Damages Resulting From Contractor Negligence in Taking Said Precautions Will Be the Responsibility of the Contractor. o the Contractor Shall Acquire Any Permits Necessary and Shall Arrange for All Inspections. o All Work Shall Be Completed in Accordance With the Manufacturer's Instructions. o the Contractor Shall Provide All Tools, Equipment, Materials, and Labor Necessary. o the Contractor Shall Dispose of All Debris Created From the Project. Warranty: o the Contractor Shall Warranty All Work as Follows: 15-year Manufacturer Warranty on All Labor and Materials 2-year Contractor Warranty to Repair Any Defective Workmanship. An original Bid Bond, Certified Check, Bank Money Order or Cashier's Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must be submitted with any bid in excess of $100,000. The AIA Document A310 - 2010 bid bond is the preferred format. Facsimiles or copies of the bid bond will not be accepted, and your bid will be disqualified if submitted. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities which do not materially affect the bid document or otherwise conflict with statute or ordinance. Any rejections of bids shall be made only if there is a sound documented reason for same.
