ODK Engineering (ODK) is acting as the project manager (PM) for the Ebb and Flow First Nation. This RFP will be awarded to design and construct a new Fire Hall and associated works. Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) has authorized the design of a Fire Hall for Ebb and Flow First Nation. ODK Engineering, on behalf of the Project Implementation Committee, are inviting qualified firms to submit Proposals to provide design and construction services for the New Fire Hall Building Project and related works according to the scope of services described hereinafter and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Tender Package document. Approval for the Project is subject to the discretion of the Project Manager and Project Implementation Committee on behalf of Ebb and Flow First Nation. This Tender Package creates no obligation on the part of the Owners to award a contract. The Owners through their Project Implementation Committee reserve the right to accept or reject any and all Proposals, in whole or in part, received as a result of this request, and to negotiate in any manner necessary to best serve the interest of the Project. The lowest price proposal, or any proposal, may not be accepted by the Owners. The policy shall be written on a form similar to that known and referred to in the insurance industry as IBC 2100 - Commercial General Liability policy (Occurrence form) and shall provide for limit of liability of not less than $5,000,000 inclusive for Bodily Injury and Property Damage for any one occurrence or series of occurrences arising out of one cause. Legal or defence costs incurred in respect of a claim or claims shall not operate to decrease the limit of liability. The Bidder shall submit a bid security of 10% of the tender amount with its tender in the form of a bid bond or a security deposit.
