The Bid Items Include The Bidder Furnishing All Labor And Equipment, As Well As Materials If So Indicated In The Specifications, To Accomplish Work Including But Not Limited To: Sewer Bypassing, Waste Water System Installation And/or Repairs, Water System Installation And/or Repairs, Drainage Improvement Or Repairs, Pavement Removal And Replacement, Excavation, Concrete Work, Dewatering, Cleaning, Sewer Point Repairs, Sod, Grassing, And Other Items As Shown On The Proposal Form. The Term Of This Award Shall Be From Date Of Award Until September 30, 2024. The City Will Have The Option To Renew The Bid Agreement For Four Additional Years After The Initial Year Of Service, With Annual Increases In The Contract Amount Limited To The Lesser Of The Cpi Or 5%. No Prospective Contractor May Withdraw Their Proposal Within Sixy (60) Days After The Actual Date Of The Opening Thereof. The City Of Brandon Reserves The Right To Reject Any And/or All Bids, To Accept Any Bid Deemed To Be In The Best Interest Of The City, And To Waive Informalities. The Intent Of Bids Received By Owner Is To Establish Unit Prices For Anticipated Work That May Be Necessary To Repair City Owned Infrastructure In Emergency Or Certain Other Situations. Bids Will Be Compared And Awarded At The Time Services Are Needed On The Basis Of The Required Pay Items, Quantity, Unit Price For The Work That Is Required And The Availability Of The Bidder. Each Bidder Shall Write The Certificate Of Responsibility Number And Mississippi Contractors License Number On The Outside Of The Sealed Envelope Containing His Proposal.
