The work of constructing The Glen Allen Water System Improvements Project Contract "A" Glen Allen Water System AMR Water Meter Replacement Project - (Materials Only) and Contract "B" (Installation Only) DWSRF Project No. FS010336-01. Furnish Data Collection Unit 3. Furnish Ancillary System Support and Start-Up 4. Furnish Applicable Software 5. Start-Up Support Contract "B" Principal Work: 1. Install (Only) Approximately 510 AMR Meters 2. Install Approximately 230 Meter Boxes 3. Install (Only Backflow Valves 4. Install (Only) Curb Stops No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receiving Bids. On Contract "A" the Supplier is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 90 consecutive calendar days total and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Supplier may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. The Contractor shall note that funds for this project are provided thru DWSRF (Drinking Water State Revolving Funds). All applicable Federal guidelines must be met. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
