Wells No.11 and 12 In general, Work consists of the construction of two high-capacity municipal wells. Well 11 will be a 598-foot deep 18-inch diameter open hole well constructed in the Tunnel City-Wonewoc aquifer. Well 12 will be a 359-foot deep 18-inch diameter screened well constructed in the Jordan aquifer. The Project consists of the following approximate quantities: 1,600 CY Comon Embankment 598 LF 18" Tunnel City Wonewoc Well, Open Hole 359 LF 18" Jordan Well. Screened 65 TREE Clear & Grub 350 LF Silt Fence 2,500 SY Erosion Control Blankets .5 AC Seeding Along with miscellaneous, clearing, restoration and correlated appurtenances. Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
