The remodel of the Office of General Counsel (Rooms 219-221) to create two (2) private offices and an internal hallway. This includes new electrical work, HVAC and fire sprinkler relocation, as well as the removal of an existing radiator and the installation of two (2) new radiators. When the Contract Price is exceeds $100,000, including circumstances in which the Contract Price exceeds $100,000 due to an Amendment, the Contractor shall furnish and maintain in effect at all times during the Contract Period a performance bond in a sum equal to the Contract Price and a separate payment bond also in a sum equal to the Contract Price. Contractor shall furnish such bonds even if the Contract Price is less than the above thresholds if required by the Contract Documents. If an Amendment causes the Contract Price to exceed $100,000, then Contractor shall furnish and maintain performance and payment bonds as required by this section Prime bidders who arrive more than 5 minutes after start of time of the meeting (as stated in the Solicitation Document and by the Owners Representatives watch) or after the discussion portion of the meeting (whichever comes first) shall not be permitted to sign in and will not be permitted to submit a bid on the Project. Bid results will be posted to the UO Procurement site where the Bid Notification was originally posted. Bids will be received on a lump-sum basis for all of the work. All bidders must comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law in ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870. No offer will be received or considered by Owner unless the offer contains a statement by the bidder as a part of the offer that states: "Contractor agrees to be bound by and will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.838, 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148." All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractor's Board at the time of bid submission. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders" upon the Bid form provided.
