The Luugat building, formerly known as Howard Johnson Hotel, was constructed in 1911 and features six floors, a basement, and a hotel-style layout. The building has 115 units and serves as a supportive housing for those most vulnerable to homelessness. TIMELINE: Request for Quotation for a registered architect to perform as a prime consultant to provide design for the project has closed. A preferred proponent has yet to be identified. Further update in late spring 2024.
