Work includes adding air conditioning to the existing Jr. High Gymnasium. The gym will be converted to a multi-purpose space / lunchroom. The HVAC improvements includes a new grade-mounted packaged air handling unit, associated ductwork, associated gas piping, and associated electrical feeder. All proposals shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid Bond" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the Central CUSD #3 or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check payable to the Central CUSD #3 for not less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The Central CUSD #3 reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and reserves the right to determine the qualifications of any and all contractors to perform the work required under this contract. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past.
